Vera L. Trout, 77, Pendleton, passed away on Oct. 11, 2017.
She was born in Vermillion, South Dakota, on June 16, 1940, to the late Vernon and Vivian (Kutil) Brown.
She was a self-employed hairdresser for over 35 years. She was a "Sports Mom" and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Vera is survived by her sons, Jim (Judy) Trout of Fishers, and Curt (Jennifer) Trout of Pendleton; grandchildren, Kelsey (Noah) Johnson, Evan Trout, Nick Trout, and Mamie Trout; brother, Earl Brown; sister in-law, Rose Darling; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Trout; brother, Don Brown; and sister, Rose Stanfield.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017, at Wilson St. Pierre, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, with Pastor Tom Wiles officiating. Burial will be on Monday, Oct. 16, at 9:30 a.m. at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday.
