Agnes E. (Kelly) Cain, 95, of Anderson died March 12, 2025 at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson.

She was born June 3, 1929, in Anderson, the daughter of Frank and Sarah (Pennisten) Kelly.

She graduated from Anderson High School in the class of 1946. She was a life long member of Anderson First Church of the Nazarene.

She was part of Dare to Care at the church, where they wrote notes of encouragement and mailed them to church members. She always sent cards to her family and extended family including a single piece of gum.

Agnes was a bookkeeper for Psychiatric Clinics of Indiana for many years.

She loved to travel and wintering in Florida. She enjoyed playing the piano and at the age of 80, took up the saxophone. On her 70th birthday, she did a 25-mile bike ride at night in Indy with family.

Agnes is survived by her daughter, Danita (Gary) Brick of Jasper, Indiana; son, Randy (Warrenetta) Cain of Lanett, Alabama; daughter, Diana (Steve) Glass of Yorktown; five grandchildren, Jan Michelle Emrich, Jeff (Tabatha) Glass, Andy (Megan) Brick, Caitlyn (Hunter) Bates and Raymond L. Cain III; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Lois) Kelly of Anderson; sister, Grace Bollenbacher of Fort Wayne; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 70 years, Raymond Cain Sr.; son, Raymond Cain Jr.; granddaughter, Julie Dalrymple; great-grandson, Jacob Ruddick; seven brothers; and a sister.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2025, at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Rudy Lee officiating. Entombment will be in East Maplewood Cemetery Mausoleum.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to Anderson First Church of the Nazarene.
