Alan Clark Obituary

New Smyrna Beach, FL - Alan Clark passed away after a short illness on Nov. 13, 2025, in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, surrounded by the love of family and friends.

Born in Anderson, Indiana, on Oct. 9, 1948, Big Al was everything anyone could want in a dad, grandpa, husband, brother, and friend. He was fun, supportive, encouraging, and he made sure we knew how much he loved us and how proud he was of each of us. Alan lived his whole life with joy, integrity, kindness, and surrounded by countless people he loved. He lived an amazing life, and we were lucky to be a part of it, ya know it?!

He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Beth Clark and his three children and their spouses, Mickey and Andrea Clark, Hayley and Jeff Baker, and Hilary and Nik Clark-Hassinger and grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor, Chloe, Jonah, Tia, Lily, Tatum, Augie, and Henry; seven great-grandchildren, with two more on the way; his siblings, Laura Bohanon, Randy (Melinda) Clark, Karen (Randall) Bodkin, and Delilah Barnes; siblings-in-law, John (Diana) Roach, Jennifer Roach, Mickey (Janet) Roach, Mary Roach (Cathy Lindamood) and Patrick Roach (Chris Westfall) as well as several nieces and nephews.

We will celebrate Alan's life together on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, with an 11 a.m. Mass at St. Mary's Church in Anderson, Indiana, followed by an open house style reception from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Anderson Country Club.
