Anderson, IN - Allan L. Hudson, 74, passed away on June 27, 2025, in Anderson. He was born on September 19, 1950, in Anderson to Carl and Elma (Barnes) Hudson.

Allan was a lifelong resident of Anderson and a devoted member of the First Church of the Nazarene on Jackson Street, where he had been a member since birth. He loved to ride his bicycle around town and had a special passion for football trivia - he could tell you just about anything about the game.

An avid collector, Allan enjoyed finding and watching old movies, especially on VHS tapes. He also loved reading his Bible and sharing his faith with others. Allan truly never met a stranger; he would talk to anyone, always offering a friendly smile and a kind word.

In recent years, Allan lived at Longfellow Plaza, the same place where he attended school growing up - a fitting and meaningful full circle in his life story.

Allan will be remembered for his joyful spirit, love for people, and deep faith.

Allan is survived by daughters, Gale Goodman, Amber Brown, and Elizabeth Hudson; sons, Allan Hudson II and David Hudson; sister, Carla Ulmer; granddaughter, Madalynn Caudill and Breanna Craig; grandsons, Kain Goodman, Zaine Crabtree, Jacob Brown, and Jason Sullivan; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Allan was preceded in death by his parents, Carl & Elma Hudson; brother, Michael Hudson; great-grandson, DJ Goodman.

Allan will be remembered for his joyful spirit, love for people, and deep faith.
