Anderson, Indiana - ANDERSON - Babe Ruth "T" Beard, 96, passed away Oct. 1, 2025.
Born in Pike Road, Alabama, to Porter Sr. and Almeda Horton Beard.
He worked for Emge and built a life surrounded by the people he loved most.
A passionate baseball fan, his love for the game was matched only by his love of laughing and joking with those closest to him.
Babe leaves to cherish his memory, special nieces, Louise Smith, Inez Simon, Sammy Kay Richardson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Glazebrooks Funeral Services, 2822 Nichol Ave., followed by graveside service at Maplewood Cemetery.
