Pendleton, IN - Barbara Jean Donnell, 81, of Pendleton, passed away on June 5, 2026.

She was born on Nov. 19, 1944, in Anderson, and resided most of her life in Pendleton.

Barbara was a 1962 graduate of Anderson High School and retired from South Madison Community School Corp., for which she served as media specialist/librarian for Pendleton Heights High School for 38 years.

She was a member of the Church of the Brethren and Soroptimist International of Anderson.

She is survived by her son, William (Erika) Wiley; daughter, Ginger (Kelly) Hernandez; grandchildren, Jordyn Lewis, Kaydence McKinney, TJ McKinney, Lucas McKinney, Joshua Wiley, Cameron Macchia, Troy Wiley, Alexis Annee, and Jackson Annee; nieces, Sharon Bachtel, Vickie Bair, Linda Kent, Becky Randolph, and April Whatley.

She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Lambour; brother, Victor Lambour; niece, Debbie Barger; and husbands, Richard Mourer and David Donnell. Visitation with family will be at 10 a.m. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Anderson Church of the Brethren, with Pastor Hope Woodard Staton officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.
