Anderson, IN - Bennie Wheeler, 73, passed away Dec. 10, 2025.
Bennie was born Sept. 24, 1952, in Doddsville, Mississippi.
He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, karate, and being a comedian to friends and family.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Wheeler; sons, Paco, Talon; daughter, Lataina; sisters, Jean, Anne, Brenett; brothers, Don, Leadale; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Bennie was preceded in death by his mother, Arletha Wheeler.
Funeral service will be noon Saturday at 2nd Baptist Church, 230 W. 14th St., with visitation two hours prior to service.
