Betty A. Bodenhorn
She was born Aug. 23, 1926, in Anderson. Betty graduated from Lapel High School.
She retired in 1978 from Delco Remy after 30 years of service and had also been a homemaker.
She had been a member of Fall Creek Christian Church. She liked to crochet and get together with her sisters. She and her husband loved to camp and go fishing on the lake in Kosciusko County.
Betty is survived by her children, Rusty (Susan) Bodenhorn, Connie (John) Eaton, and Randy Bodenhorn; grandchildren, Shelly (Tim) Stottlemyer, Guy (Wendy) Bodenhorn, Marty Jo Haupert, Doug Blakely, Kayla (Ammon) Davis, and AJ (Elizabeth) Bodenhorn; great-grandchildren, Emily (John), Erin, Grace, Keegan, Remington, Jared (Karlee), and Jonathan; great-great-grandson, Owen; siblings, Evelyn Raper, Marybelle Badgley, Alta Mae (Kenny) Garner, Dean (Charlotte) Huntzinger, Rex Huntzinger, and Larry (Nancy) Huntzinger; sister-in-law, June Huntzinger; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents, Earl and Alta Huntzinger; husband, Leland J. Bodenhorn; siblings, Lavon Ridge, Maxine Rittenhouse, Earl Jr. Huntzinger, and Marylou Moore; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack Raper, Bob Badgley, Bob Ridge, Paul Rittenhouse, Jean Huntzinger, and Arnold Moore; grandsons-in-law, Rod Haupert and Jamie Fawley; great-granddaughter, Sarah Haupert.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Shelly Stottlemyer officiating. Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Pendleton Emergency Ambulance Fund.
