Robert Raymond "Bob" Bailey, 67, lifetime resident of Anderson, passed away on Feb. 28, 2025, of an extended illness.

He was born Aug. 21, 1957, in Anderson, to Thomas Fairfax and Phyllis Anne (Long) Bailey. He graduated from Anderson High School in the class of 1975. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in Business from Anderson University in 1981.

In 1997, he became a massage therapist and graduated from The Alexandria School of Scientific Therapeutics. He also worked at Taylor Printing for 23 years.

He was a member of Park Place Church of God. He enjoyed camping, hiking, walking, bicycling, and the outdoors. He was a proud resident of Anderson. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his longtime companion of over 42 years, Teresa Nyboer of Anderson; his sister, Jane Bailey (husband, Philip) Weiss of Twinsburg, Ohio; brother, Thomas F. Bailey of Palm City, Florida; daughter, Jacki (Brian) West of Pearisburg, Virginia; four grandchildren, Aaron (Mackenzie Tabor) West, Abigail West, Joulina Shock, and Jackson West; aunt, Nancy Bailey of Anderson; seven nieces and nephews, Angela Owens, Myrletta (Shawn) Blades, Bryan (Tailor) Bailey, Jaami Bailey, Vivian (Caleb) Kammel, Gordon Weiss, and Peter Weiss; several great-nieces, great- nephews, and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two siblings, Glenn Bailey and Alberta Helbling; and nephew, Thomas F. Bailey III.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Park Place Church of God with Dr. Jonathan Grubbs officiating. A private burial will take place at a later date in East Maplewood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Park Place Church of God, c/o Steeple Restoration Project, 501 College Drive, Anderson, IN 46012.
