Anderson - Booker Tyrone Braxton, 79, passed away on Dec. 30, 2025.
Booker was born on Nov. 13, 1946, to Rev. Levert and Louise Braxton. He was a 1965 graduate of Anderson High School. Booker enjoyed detailing cars, drawing and spending time with family and friends.
Booker is survived by his sons, Diante Braxton, Tyler Braxton; daughter, Tormekia Braxton; sisters, Mable Anderson, Ora (Chris) Moore, Margaret (Sonny) Brown, Natalie (Ramon) Weathersbee, Yvonne Avery, Ada (Bill) Ousley; brothers Levert Braxton Jr., Edward Braxton; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be at noon Saturday at Glazebrooks Funeral Service, 2822 Nichol Ave., with visitation two hours prior to service.
