Anderson, Indiana - Brent Lee Justice, 64, of Anderson, passed away May 6 surrounded by family.

He was born July 27, 1959, in Muncie. He attended Frankton High School and worked at Meijer in the meat department for many years.

On Feb. 14, 2005, he married the love of his life, Karen. They were inseparable and showed what a marriage between soul mates looks like.

His pride and joy was his son, Brandon Lee Justice. He was so proud of him & always affectionately referred to him as "My Boy".

He was a member of Life Church in Pendleton, and enjoyed spending time with his small groups.

He was also an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman.

Most of all, he loved his family, children, and his grandchildren with his whole heart. Brent will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; son, Brandon Lee Justice (fiancé, Delaney); stepsons, Chad (Tammy) Smith, Shannon (Kara) Smith, Brandon (Angel) Smith; stepfather, David Schulte; grandchildren, Berkley, Ashton, Drew, Aria, Stella, Connor, and Briley; sister, Tara (Phil) Harrington; brother-in-law, David Potter; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Connie Lee Justice and Marianne Schulte; and his brother, Kent Justice.

Visitation will be held at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home on Thursday, May 9, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. The funeral ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Cathy Peternel will be officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home.
