Anderson, IN - Carol Leaton Moore, 92, of Anderson, passed away May 30, 2026, at Community Hospital Anderson. He was born Feb. 5, 1934, in Wise County, Virginia.

He retired after 42 years as a machine operator for Container Corporation of America.

He was an avid Colts fan. He loved fishing, golfing, bowling, horseshoes, camping, playing corn hole and winning everything!!.

Carol is survived by his loving spouse of 71 years, Virginia "Ginger" Moore; children, Michael (Alexandra) Moore, Ronald D. (Deborah) Moore and Lisa (Ronald) Harless; granddaughters, Tiffany, Amanda, Brittany, Kendra, Jessica and Julia; step-grandchildren, Anamaria and Jack; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Kaden, Kayler, Rhease, Natalie, Erin, Kamdyn, Laikyn, Myla and Spencer; great-great-grandson Oliver; siblings, Sue, Wanda, Brenda and David, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carson and Minnie Moore; daughter, Sherilyn K. Moore; and siblings, Nancy, Betty, Jim, Robert and Mona.
