Alexandria - Carrol "June" Garr Richards, R.N., went home May 16, 2026, in Alexandria.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Dale Garr and Floy Margaret Garr; sister, Judy Garr Beeson; and great-grandson, Robert Custer.
She was a graduate of Sister of the Holy Cross Nursing School.
Survivors include three children, Kathryn Custer of Alexandria, Rhonda Shultz and Michael Richards, both of Orestes; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She donated her body to I.U. Teaching School.
In lieu of flowers, she requested donation to St. Jude Children's & Shriner's.
Memorial services will be held at a future date.
