Cape Coral, Florida - Cean (Kimball) Cartwright, 80, passed away May 22, 2026, after 13 days in hospice care.

Cean, a graduate of Middletown High School, served a long career as an educator, teacher, principal and finally as superintendent of Porter Township school system in Porter County, Indiana.

Survivors include her husband, Philip Edward; daughter, Amy (Trevor) Fulleton; granddaughter, Tearzlee Fulleton; son, Philip M. Cartwright; and grandson, Phillip T. Cartwright.

A celebration of life will be Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Community Room at Loose Funeral Home, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
