Charles Owen Sides
Charles "C.O." Owen Sides, 80, of Anderson, passed away on Feb. 6, 2020, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 4, 1939, in Arcanum, Ohio, and resided most of his life in the Pendleton/Anderson area.
C.O. graduated from Franklin Monroe High School in 1958.
He retired from General Motors in 1992 after 28 1/2 years.
He was a member of UAW 663 and loved riding his horses, bicycling, fishing, and searching for arrowheads.
C.O. is survived by his loving spouse whom he married May 4, 1963, Malinda Sides; daughters, Lora (Mark) Vanderluit and Amy (Allen Williams) Sides; grandchildren, Owen and Olivia Vanderluit, and Jack Williams; siblings, Verna (Jim) Cook, Dennis (Janice) Sides; sister-in-law, Marie Sides; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martha and Lester Sides; and brothers, Donnie (Barbara) Sides, and Keith Sides.
Visitation will be held Monday, Feb. 10, 2020, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Loose Funeral Homes, Anderson, with cremation to follow.

CO was a great guy, always made you laugh, & always had a story to tell. He will be missed! Prayers for his family!
