Clarence David Lehman Obituary
Frankton, IN - Clarence David Lehman, lovingly known as David, passed away on June 14, 2026, in Frankton.
Born on April 4, 1940, in Elwood, David was a beacon of humility, loyalty, and support to everyone he met. A dedicated family man and a steadfast believer in Christ, David's life was marked by a profound devotion to his loved ones and his faith.
David was a hardworking and humble man who spent his career in manufacturing, retiring from Delco Remy in 1996. His industrious spirit wasn't confined to his professional life; David was an all-around handyman known for his love of working on cars, fixing farm equipment, and tackling various projects around the house. His love for outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, and hunting was deeply ingrained in his family, and he took great joy in sharing these pastimes with his boys and grandsons. David was also an Elder at the Frankton Christian Church, and his devotion to his faith was evident in his tireless service to the community. He could often be found playing basketball with the local kids or lending a hand wherever needed, embodying the principles of love and kindness that he held dear.
David is survived by his children, Kenny (Pam) Lehman, Brenda Lehman, Deanna Riser, and Michael (Susan) Lehman; grandchildren, Craig Jackson who he often referred to as his best friend, Justin (Courtney) Jackson, Lacy Riser, Brandi (Adam) Davis, Kylee (Jamesyn) Quinn, Jessica (TJ) Falin, Megan Price; 18 great-grandchildren; and sister, Lanora (Tom) Hart.
David was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joyce Lehman whom he adored; parents, Darwin and Ethel Lehman; granddaughter, Kristina James; five brothers; and one sister.
