Cleve C. "Six-O" Wheeler, 56, died unexpectedly July 11, 2010, in Jacksonville, Fla. He was born Feb. 7, 1954, in Doddsville, Miss., to the late R.B. Wheeler and Jessie Mae Wheeler. He moved to Anderson in 1967. He attended Madison Heights High School. He was employed at General Motors retiring after 30 years of service. He was baptized at an early age and became a member of Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church. Cleve had a love for motorcycles and was a member of "The Brothers of The Wheel Motorcycle Club." He also enjoyed entertaining his family and friends. Cleve leaves to cherish in loving memory, a son, Cleve Leon Wheeler of Jacksonville, Fla.; three daughters, Eries (Edward) Cloyd of Morrisville, N.C., Latoya Wheeler of Anderson, Ind., and Jessica (Anthony) Perry of Shreveport, La.; four sisters, Ethel (Bishop John) Stewart, Katie (Rev. Henry) Prince, Leanner Warren, and Bertha (Mark) Taylor; three brothers, R.B. "Butch" (Maude) Wheeler, Leroy (Ann) Wheeler and Kirby (Vivian) Wheeler; 17 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, R.B. and Jessie Mae Wheeler; son, Antoine London; sisters, Arleetha Steans and Carrie Wheeler; and brother, Tamper Wheeler. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church, 2124 Cedar St., Anderson, with Pastor Floyd Edwards officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Walker Funeral Home, Cincinnati, Ohio.
