Anderson, Indiana - Connie Eldridge, 76, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away surrounded by family on Friday, June 26, 2026.

She was born in Muncie, to the late Rodger and Emma Lou Byrne.

Connie retired from Jobsource in 2014 after more than 30 years and she has kept a close friendship with the Jobsource girls. She loved watching IU basketball and football, the Cubs, the Fever, and NASCAR. Her grandsons and great-granddaughter were her pride and joy, she was so proud of them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Eldridge; her parents; her brother, Rodger Byrne II; mother and father-in-law, Dalton and Nadine Eldridge; sister-in-law, Lana Ledbetter; and brother-in-law, David Renner.

Connie is survived by two daughters, Jennifer McClelland and Jessica (Shawn) Buckner; three grandsons, Andre Edwards, Andrew Sheets and Maddox Buckner; and one great-granddaughter, Gabriella Razor.

She is also survived by her sisters, Debbie Williams and Rebecca Jones; her brother, Mike Byrne; sister-in-law, Karlene (Howard) Carter; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held and conducted by Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services located at 504 W. Ninth St., Anderson, on Monday, July 6, 2026, with visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. and the funeral service starting at 4 p.m.
