Anderson, IN - Daniel Lee Sellers, 83, of Anderson, passed away on Feb. 7, 2026.

He was born on Jan. 24, 1943, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and resided in Anderson for the past 40 years.

Daniel graduated from Cincinnati Bible College. He served his country in the United States Navy between 1961-1964.

Dan served on President Kennedy's flagship, the USS Northampton, as a diesel engineer, including during the Cuban Missile Crisis. After his love for the Lord, wife, and family, he loved the Navy.

Dan retired in 2011 from American Welding, a company he founded and ran for over 30 years.

He was a member of the East Side Church of God.

Daniel is survived by his loving spouse of 48 years, Bobbi Sellers; his five children, Mechelle (Phillip Maynard) Saadawi, Mitsy (David) Croy, Marty (Robert) Parker, Joe Sellers and D.T. Sellers.

He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlena McCarthy, who passed away in 2009.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.

A memorial service will follow visitation at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Mary Ann Randolph officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Wounded Warriors Project or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
