Kansas City, Missouri - KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Daniel Clifton Weedman went home to Heaven on Monday, March 3, 2025, after an intense two-year fight with cancer.

He was born on Jan. 1, 1962, at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana, to E. Dwight and Juanita K. Weedman. He was their third child.

Daniel grew up in Chesterfield, Indiana. As a child, he was fascinated with keys, slide projectors, and pictures from around the world. He also enjoyed going to summer camp.

In 1981, he graduated from Highland High School in Anderson, Indiana, and then attended LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas, graduating in 1985 with a bachelor's degree in business administration.

Back home in Indiana, Daniel traded puns for a pun with his dad and explored history like his mother. He actively participated in the West Cross Street Alliance Church in Anderson.

He earned his CPA and thrived in understanding tax law and forms. He moved to Missouri and continued to serve clients well in navigating the mysteries of taxes.

In addition to his appreciation for Indiana basketball, Daniel became an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Royals fan. Given the opportunity, he would provide many fun facts and statistics.

Daniel is survived by his parents; siblings, Jeffrey (Cheri) Weedman and Rosalind (Ron) Wismer; and his nephews, nieces, and families, Daniel, James, Mark (Guisselle) Wismer, Carl (Christine) Weedman, Tatiana Weedman (Alex) Brody, and Braxton Brody (great-nephew). Special people in his life include many cousins, friends at church, and very close co-workers and friends he had during his years in Missouri.

Daniel was well served by the Ignite Medical Resort Carondelet, The Caring Heart (Annice & John White), Kansas City Hospice, and numerous doctors, nurses, and support staff at St. Luke's Cancer Center.
