Anderson, IN - ANDERSON — David Lee Armstrong, 79, departed this life on Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025.
David "Toy Cannon" was born May 27, 1946, to Jake and Charlotte Armstrong, in Columbia, Tennessee. He was a graduate of Anderson High School, later retiring from Delco Remy.
David enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and watch his westerns.
David is survived by his wife, Evelyn; daughter, Stacey (Victor) Kelley; son, Raymond Watson; brothers, Charles (Lou Ann) Armstrong, Larry (Garnetta) Armstrong; sisters, Joe Ann Burk, Lois Green, Pam Stokes; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Charlotte Armstrong; brother, Jimmy Armstrong; and sister, Janice Armstrong.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Friendship Missionary Baptist, 1540 W 16th St., with visitation two hours prior to service. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
