Dean William Croke, 81, of Anderson, passed away on March 7, 2025, at his home. He was born on July 28, 1943, in Anderson, Indiana.
Dean graduated from Anderson High School, the first class out of the Wigwam. He served his country in the US Army Reserves.
He retired from General Motors. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, American Legion Color Guard, and loved playing golf and going to the beach.
Dean is survived by his loving spouse of 52 years, Cindy Croke; sons, Todd (Yasuyo Kitano) Croke, and Ryan D. (Amanda) Croke, granddaughters, Alexandra, and Erin Gill; siblings, Diana Croke Hegstrom, Dale T. (Leslie) Croke, Debra A. (Mark) Croke Branch; several nieces, nephews, and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John William and Inez Croke.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 13, 2025, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St., Anderson, IN.
Services will be Thursday, March 13, 2025, 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park, Anderson with military rites.
Memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scouts of America or Wounded Warrior Program.
