Anderson, IN - Deardra Joan Roesch, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026.

She was born on June 26, 1937, in Anderson, Indiana, to her parents, Adrene J. and William P. Beresford.

Deardra graduated from Anderson High School. She attended Indiana University and received her bachelor's in education from Ball State University.

She had a deep love for travel, exploring the world alongside her late husband, Bill. Together, they visited every continent. One of their most cherished traditions was taking each grandchild on a special trip to a destination of their choice during the summer of their 12th year — a meaningful opportunity to bond and create lasting memories. They treasured these experiences, and upon returning home, Bill would thoughtfully create an album of each journey to share with family and friends.

She was a devoted member of First United Methodist Church in Anderson, where she played a key role in founding the community dinner ministry, helping to serve and support those in need.

Deardra is survived by her children, Pam (Roger) Martin, David Roesch and Jill Docskalik; grandchildren, Wesley, Eric, Aaron, Katie, Adrene and Trevor; and great-grandchildren, Alice, Jaina, Amelia and Jasper.

She was preceded in death by husband of 67 years, William Elsworth Roesch; and her parents.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from noon to 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 1215 Jackson St., Anderson.

A memorial service will follow visitation at the church with the Rev. Corrine Boruff officiating.

Burial will take place in The Gardens at Willowcrest Park, in Anderson.
