Anderson, IN - Donell "Duke" Settles Jr., 74, passed away Sept. 10, 2025.
Duke was born Dec. 18, 1950, to Donell Settles Sr. and Donna Fairley in Fostoria, Ohio.
He was a U.S. Marine veteran and retired from the Department of Corrections.
Duke enjoyed fishing, watching old movies and spending time with grandchildren.
Duke is survived by his wife, Patricia Kimm Settles; son, Dion; daughters, Dante, Natalie Reese, Myracle Settles, Kiera Jackson, Natalie Johnson; sisters, Darlene, Michele, Cheryl, Cathy, Phyllis; brother, Kevin; seven grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be 4 p.m. Thursday at Glazebrooks Funeral Service, 2822 Nichol Ave., with visitation two hours prior to service.
