Dwain Gerald McCarroll


MIDDLETOWN - Dwain Gerald McCarroll, 75, of Middletown, passed away Aug. 31, 2019, at St. Vincent Anderson Hospital. He was born on Nov. 16, 1943, in Anderson, Indiana.
He was a 1962 graduate of Highland High School and served his country in the National Guard.
He retired from General Motors as a tool maker.
Dwain loved playing golf and going to his grandchildren's sporting events. He was a member of The American Legion, VFW, AMVETS, 40 & 8, Madison County Veterans, Moose and Eagles.
Dwain is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Cindi McCarroll; sons, Thad McCarroll, Brade McCarroll, Kacy McCarroll; grandchildren, Keely Myers, Cash McCarroll; step-granddaughter, Jordan Dean; siblings, Jay (Carol) McCarroll, Karen Martin; mother-in-law, Mary Hanna; sister-in-law, Jan McMichael; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends Bob Worley and Bill Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jay Randle and Christina R. McCarroll.
A Celebration of Life Visitation Gathering will be held at the Community Room at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019, from 1-3 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Middletown EMT Department.

Sorry for your lose. Dea and I saw him every so often at the at the AM-VETS. Her and I worked at Guide.

Dwain will be missed by many friends and of course family. We were classmates and basketball ball teammates at Highland High school. Dwain was a great person..🎆🤗💕
