Anderson, IN - Elroy Robinson, 71, passed away March 31, 2026.

Elroy was born March 19, 1955, to Huldah Marie and Samuel Robinson. He was a Madison Heights High School graduate, U.S. Army veteran and employed at General Motors.

Elroy enjoyed singing, fishing, going to church and spending time with family and friends.

Elroy is survived by his sons, Durrand Robinson, Darnell Robinson, and Joshua Robinson; daughters, Astarlove Robinson-Russel (Troy), Lou Meisha Brown (Terry), Jhaskada Fields, Jamila Johnson (Carlin); sister, Linda Robinson-Mitchell; stepsister, Noon Smith; 19 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Elroy was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Robinson, Hulda Marie Robinson; brother, Calvin Robinson; sisters, Mary Francis Grady, and Darlene Robinson; stepsister, Mary Coolins; niece, Bonita Mitchell; special nephew, Dewayne Mitchell; nieces and nephews, Nyrae Mitchell, Andrew Mitchell, Debra Jean White, Billy Blackmon, Ricardo Daniels, and Tasha Robinson.

Funeral service will be noon Monday at Glazebrooks Funeral Services, 2822 Nichol Ave., with visitation two hours prior to service.
