Esther Mae (King)Smith, 70, of Anderson, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 23, 2016, at Community Hospital of Anderson.
Esther was born on Aug. 25, 1946, in Chesterfield, S.C., to William and Pauline King.
Esther worked at Community Hospital Anderson for 30+ years. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and friends.
Esther is survived by her son, Mark (Michelle) Smith of Anderson; Shantell (David) Smith of Anderson; grandchildren, Kaylie, Kelsey, Gavin and Mason; and great-grandchildren, Laila and Stella.
She was preceded in death by her parents; along with many brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at The Cross Ministry, 1521 E. 18th St., Anderson.
