Florence Lois Redmon
Florence Lois Redmon, 90, Anderson, passed away peacefully Jan. 22, 2020, at her home. She was born Dec. 25, 1930, to Robert and Amelia (Herrion) Whitinger.
Post-graduation from St. Mary's Catholic High School in Anderson, Florence worked for Delco Remy for 34 years. Most people would describe Florence as an angel sent from heaven. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and being outside in any capacity. She was always taking care of others and lending a helping hand. She loved her grandchildren and was a wonderful mother and friend. Florence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Florence is survived by her daughter, Julie Bond; grandchildren, Amber Bond, Virgeana Redmon, and Robert Redmon; great-grandchildren, Christopher Waltermire, Victoria Redmon, Xavier Huff, Paigelyn Huff, Michael Huff, Brailyann Huff, Dayton Underwood, Alexianna Underwood, Zachary Humphrey, Mason McSherry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Virldeen Redmon; parents listed above; son, Ivy Redmon; and grandson, Michael Redmon.
A private burial will be held at Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson.
Services were handled by Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service-Anderson.

My sympathy to all of Lois's family. I was a neighbor of hers and always loved talking to her on her front porch. I miss those days. She was like everyone that knew her says a very sweet person. I only wish I could have known her more years. I will miss her
