Fredrick Thomas Farley
Fredrick Thomas Farley, 76, of Anderson, passed away on Nov. 17, 2019.
He was born on April 10, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois.
Fred served in the United States Army for 13 years. He was extremely patriotic, and the military was his life. He served three tours in Vietnam as a Med-Evac. In his spare time, you could find him fishing, or watching sports, as in the Chicago Bears or Cubs.
In his younger days he used to race cars with his friends. For several years he acted as an assistant to horse trainers. Fred was an extremely giving and generous person. He always gave to different charities when he could. He had quite the sense of humor. Fred was a great husband, father, and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Fred is survived by his wife of 31 years, Tenna Farley; daughters, Leanna Sharrett (Dennis) and Krista Cronk (Christopher Seagraves); and two grandkids, Lily and Taylor.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and an aunt and uncle who raised him.
A visitation will be held on Nov. 22, 2019, from 2 to 4 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 4 p.m. at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service-Anderson. Pastor Ed Purciful will be officiating.
