Anderson, Indiana - Geraldine S. Smith, of Anderson, passed away on Aug. 8, 2026.
Born in Anderson in December of 1936, she graduated from Anderson High School in 1955. She later earned her degree from Ball State University in 1973.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Smith, whom she married Dec. 24, 1955; parents, Leo and Opal Barron; and brothers, Jack Barron and Robert Barron.
Geraldine is survived by children, Philip (Kim), Norman, William, and Pamela; as well as four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services; no services will be held.
