Anderson, IN - Halford G. Seybert, 93, of Anderson, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on May 1, 2025, at his residence.

He was born on July 24, 1931, in Anderson, Indiana.

Hal graduated from Anderson High School, and attended Ball State University. He also served his country in the United States Marines Corps.

He operated Stottlemyer Lumber Company.

Hal is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Penny (Mitchell) Seybert; children, Alex H. (Deb Dietrich) Seybert, Alison York, and Abbie (Eric) Fesmire; stepchildren, Kathy (Kevin) Murphy and Becky (Ray) Bunes; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Paralee Seybert; grandson, Connor Shockley; and brothers, Jim Seybert, Bill Seybert, and Phil Seybert.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m. at The Community Room at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
