Anderson, Indiana - Harry Dale Morgan, 71, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his residence on May 17, 2026.

He was born on April 4, 1955, in Anderson, where he lived his entire life and built a legacy of hard work, kindness, and devotion to family and friends.

Harry proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Following his military service, he dedicated his life to his craft as a skilled carpenter and furniture maker, taking great pride in the work of his hands and the beauty he created.

Harry had a deep love for animals, enjoyed spending time fishing, and gave generously of himself through volunteer work with Man 4 Man Ministries and Steppingstones. His compassionate spirit and willingness to help others touched many lives throughout the community.

He is survived by his loving wife, Belenda (Young) Morgan; his sons, Nick (Erin) Morgan, Shane (Tracy) Thompson, and Harry Lycan; daughters, Laurie Lycan and Cynthia (Bill) Ripberger; brothers, John Morgan and Mike Morgan; sisters, Aloma Clark and Linda Walker; grandchildren, Cohen, Beckham, Sarah, Ashly, Courtney, Jarvis, Jonea, and Tristen; as well as his beloved dog, Jack, and cat, Pickles.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Betty Morgan; his stepson, Brad Gunn; his brother, Bert Morgan; and his sisters, Elaine Morgan and Marsha (Earl) Henderson.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Community Health for their care and compassion.

Cremation will take place, and no formal services are planned at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society in Harry's honor.
