James Caughron Obituary
Anderson, IN - James Caughron, 80, of Anderson, passed away on Dec. 2, 2025, from pulmonary fibrosis, with his wife, Paula Brandon-Caughron, whom he met in Anderson and married on March 25, 2013, at his side.
He was born on June 17, 1945, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. along with a twin sister, Pam (Jerry) Stottman, of Oklahoma.
He had two children, Tara (Jake) Danforth and Tayolor (Krista) Caughron; and eight grandchildren, Owen, Grace, Paige, Kate, Austin, Henry, Noah, and Lucy; and two cats that he adored, Stewart and Jasmine.
James was a Navy veteran and worked for Myers Material Handling for 25 years. Football was his passion, and he officiated games for 40 years. He also enjoyed golf.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Jack R. and Elanor Caughron.
He will be missed by all who knew him. Rest In Peace, James.
A graveside service will be held in June at East Maplewood Cemetery.
