Anderson, IN - The Rev. James Otis Morehead, retired Anderson University speech and communications professor, transitioned on May 23, 2026.
He was born June 5, 1946, in Monroe, Louisiana. He taught at AU for 32 years and served as pastor of the Pasadena Heights Church of God in Indianapolis since 1993.
He's survived by his wife Jean, daughters Andrea (Archie Allen) and Amie, grandson Ean James Allen, and three sisters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 6, at Park Place Church of God, 501 College Drive, Anderson, Indiana 46012. Visitation will start one hour prior to service.
