Jeanine Marie Klein, 59, of Fishers, passed away July 20, 2019, at the Simon Cancer Center.
She was born on April 11, 1960, in Kalamazoo, Michigan to E. John and Patricia Klein.
She was a graduate of Coldwater High School in Coldwater, Michigan, class of 1978, where she was active in band, foreign languages and track and field. She then graduated in 1982 from Indiana University in Medical Record and Administration.
She was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority, IU Student Foundation, and volunteered at the Music Art Center. In 1982, she achieved national certification of Registered Health Information Administration Services. She worked over 20 years as a consultant traveling the country providing interim leadership and staff development, working in over 50 hospitals.
She enjoyed travel, hockey, crafts, time with family and friends, and time spent at Coldwater Lake.
Jeanine is survived by her mother, Patricia K. (William A.) Shoemaker; siblings, Steven J. (Nancy) Klein, Kenneth S. (Cynthia) Klein; nieces and nephews, Jonathan (Ashley) M. Klein, Patricia K. Weikel (Adam), Stephanie L. Harvey (Alexandr), great-niece, Annalise Klein Weikel; and dear friend of over 30 years, Kara Gwynn and the entire Gwynn family.
She was preceded in death by her father, E. John Klein.
A Celebration of Life Gathering at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, followed by fellowship til 2 p.m. at East Lynn Christian Church, 522 E. 53rd St., Anderson.
