Anderson, Indiana - Jeffery Gene Garrison passed away peacefully on Jan. 2, 2026, at the age of 67 after an extended illness.

Born on Feb. 15, 1958, in Elwood, Indiana, to Rosalie (Garrison)Beeman, and George H. Wylie. He was raised by his mother and stepfather, Melvin (Dean) Beeman and attended Longfellow Elementary in Anderson, and Alexandria Jr./Sr. High School class of 1976 where he gained the nickname as "Wylie Coyote" that stayed with him for life.

He held a bachelor of science from Indiana State University and was a skilled tradesman welder. Other than a brief stay in North Carolina, he spent most of his life in the central Indiana area.

Jeff's legacy is carried on by his two daughters, Crimson (Garrison) Scott, and Tiffany (Garrison) McIntyre; along with many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

His memory will also be treasured by his surviving siblings, sisters, Pamela Wylie, Debbie Huffman, Anita Walker, Deanna Bassett, Beth Hiett, and Donna Price; brother, Moses Beeman; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather; along with his two sons, Jeffery D. Garrison and Jeffery G. Hyde; siblings, Karen Thompson, Kowinna Sharpe, Rickie Wylie, Darren Wylie, and Brent Wylie.

Jeff was known for his infectious laugh, and it will be deeply missed. One of his greatest joys was found in the time he spent with his friends and family. Whether it was a shared meal, a gathering, or a brief "Hello."

Jeff trusted heavily in the faith, camaraderie and fellowship shown by all those at Man for Man ministries.

As we bid farewell to Jeffery G. Garrison, we celebrate his perseverance to continue to move forward against all odds, no matter what, he never gave up! His journey on this earth may have concluded, may his spirit live on in the hearts of those he touched.
