Several years ago, someone asked Jerri if I was her son. We all had a great laugh over it, and I’ve called her ‘Mom’ and she’s called me ‘Son’ ever since. Jerri is a special soul, and will have a special place in Heaven. I will always remember and miss my church ‘Mom’ until my turn to go home!

Jerri was an awesome woman and a great friend, especially to my mom, Ruth Reed. I knew her all of my life. She was there when our family needed her. She had an infectious laugh and a glowing smile.

I am so so so very sorry to you all for your GREAT loss. Jerri was an exceptional human being. I have known her for 30+ years. She was always joyous, and loved laughing. She was willing to help in anyway asked, and never really complained about it. At least to me. She had a heart for the less fortunate. She made a KILLER APPLE CAKE... Thankfully, the last time she made me one all to myself, she gave me the recipe too!! I will so miss her. God bless you all.
