Jerry Gene Harmon
Jerry Gene Harmon, 77, of Anderson, passed away Feb, 1, 2020, at Community Hospital, Anderson. He was born Sept. 20, 1942, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, and resided most of his life in Anderson.
Jerry graduated from Indiana School for the Deaf and last worked for Spring Air Mattress Company.
He was a member of Indiana Deaf Club, and he loved to attend functions there, fishing, working on puzzles, but most of all, he enjoyed having fun and making people laugh.
Jerry is survived by his son, Terry (Chasta) Harmon; mother, Jessie Harmon; granddaughter, Shelby Harmon; sister, Linda Carpenter; niece, Bonnie (Mark) Webber; and nephew, Troy Harmon.
He was preceded in death by his father, L.P. Harmon, and his brother, Harold Harmon.
Visitation will be 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020, at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020, at the funeral home.
Burial will take place in Pleasant Walk Cemetery, Anderson.

I was saddened to hear of Jerry's passung.I was his mail carrier. If he was in the lobby he'd always wave and open the door if I needed in to deliver packages. I cant begin to count how many pieces of sugar free candy he showered me with. I'll miss his smile and wave. So sorry for your loss.
