Jimmie  Morgan Jr.
Jimmie "Miracle Man" Morgan Jr., 58, passed away Nov. 26, 2019, at his residence.
Jimmie was born Feb. 25, 1961, to Jimmie Morgan Sr. and Minnie Lee Boone. He was a 1980 graduate from Madison Heights High School and attended Indiana State University.
He was a retired boxer. Jimmie encouraged healthy living and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Jimmy is survived his companion, Helen Shankli; sisters, Byvonda Hendrix, Michelle (John) Hopkins, Ivana Morgan; brothers, Winston Morgan, Lawrence Messer Taylor, George (Cynthia) Hendrix, Marcus Fuller, Tommy (Von) Mitchem, Derrick (Mary Hellen) Mitchem; and a host of family and friends.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Jerry Morgan Sr., Ella Mae Morgan, Willie Collier and Kiziah Collier.
Services will be held at noon Friday at Bethesda Missionary Baptist, 2124 Cedar St., with visitation from 10 a.m. to noon prior to service.

My friend my brother I've known Jimmy for over 20 years a solid individual bar none truly will be missed his honor will be carried on a tremendous heart a man that knew God's word I'm truly sad about but I realized God called him home my prayer goes out to the whole family
