Anderson, IN - Johnay Assunta Swain, 38, passed away March 26, 2026.

Johnay was born June 23, 1987, in Anderson, to Margaret Larry and John Cantrell Swain.

She loved cooking, dancing, spending time with family and friends.

Johnay is survived by her son, Raphael Johnson; daughters, Jael Johnson, Eva Sue Swain; mother, Margaret (Joseph) Larry; father, John Cantrell Swain; sisters, Deretta Coleman, Brittney Swain, Kaitlyn Coleman, Cierra Smith; brothers, Roman (Rayka) Coleman, Brandon Swain, Ivan Coleman; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church, 2124 Cedar St., with visitation two hours prior to service. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
