Juanita M. Thompson, 80, of Anderson, passed away on April 12, 2024, surrounded by her family.

She was born on Aug. 4, 1943, in Anderson, to James and Eileen (Whetsel) Justice. She married the love of her life, William Clay Thompson Sr., and the two were married for 55 years before his passing.

She found her spiritual home at Bethany Christian Church and was a faithful member for many years. Juanita loved arts and crafts, bowling, and camping. Most importantly, she loved her family and spending time with them.

Juanita will be dearly missed by her children, William Clay Thompson Jr., Sherry Hoehn, Terry A. (Michele) Thompson, Michelle (John) Neblett, Stephen A. Thompson, and Chris N. Thompson; mother, Eileen Justice; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father; husband, William; and brother, James Justice, Jr.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson. The funeral ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Chaplain Rob Mifflin will be officiating. Entombment will take place in Anderson Memorial Park. Memorial contributions in Juanita's name may be gifted to the Parkinson's Association. Juanita's services have been entrusted to Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home.
