Anderson, IN - Judith Kay (Imel) Brown, 84, of Anderson, passed away June 29, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born Oct. 13, 1941, in Bluffton, Indiana, and resided most of her life in Anderson.

Judith graduated from Anderson High School, Class of 1959.

She was a retired store manager for Keg N Bottle.

She was a member of Anderson Women's Bowling Association, where she served as the secretary of the Tuesday Morning women's league at Cooper's Sport Bowl for many years.

Judith is survived by her loving partner of 19 years, Rick O'Bryant; sons, David (Denise) Kimm of Noblesville, James (Michelle) Kimm of Anderson and Joseph Brown of Chesterfield; her former stepchildren, whom she still considered her kids, Robert (Aletha) Brown and David Wayne (Terri) Brown; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, Diana and Holly.

She was preceded in death by her father, George J. Imel; mother, Dorothy M. Downey; stepfather, Wyman K. Downey; son, Jon Kimm; daughter, Nanci Dunn; and two brothers, Larry Joe Imel and Eric Imel.

Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Brown officiating. Burial will take place in West Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.
