Elwood, Indiana - Judith A. "Judy" (Tinch) Buttler, 65, of Elwood, passed away on Aug. 2, 2022, in Indianapolis.

Judy was born on Feb. 7, 1957, in Anderson, to Willie and Theola (Hargis) Tinch. She worked for Kings Systems as a Quality Assurance Assistant for a number of years. Judy had a special place in her heart for animals and loved having a good time. She was always trying to make others smile. Most importantly, Judy loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Judy will be dearly missed by her husband, Ellis "Buddy"; her mother, Theola Wiggins; daughters, Melissa (Stephen) Matthews and Heather McBride; grandchildren, Libby Matthews and Talen McBride; sisters, Irene Griggs, Tammy Tway, and Melinda Allen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Willie; and her brother, Gene Tinch.

The memorial gathering will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson.

Memorial contributions in Judy's name may be gifted to the Madison County Humane Society.
