Fishers, IN - Julia Goodwin, 90, passed away Oct. 24, 2025.

Julia was born Nov. 3, 1934, to Louis and Mariam Townsend. She was a 1953 Anderson High School graduate and retired from Fort Benjamin Harrison Finance Center.

Julia enjoyed watching basketball, going to the State Fair and spending time with family and friends.

Julia is survived by her son, Marvin Goodwin; sisters, Hattie (Charles) Hobson, Rebecca Townsend, Mary Gray; brothers, Harold Townsend, Richard (LaRoyna) Townsend; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be noon Friday at Wallace Temple AME Zion, 1518 Forkner St., with visitation two hours prior to service. Burial in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
