Julia Kay Wright
Julia Kay (Rariden) Wright, 70, of Vevay, Indiana, and formerly of Anderson, was born June 10, 1949, in Anderson, the daughter of Robert Sterling and Ruth Carolyn (Wiley) Rariden.
She was a 1967 graduate of Anderson High School. Julia received her bachelor's degree in education from Indiana State University and later her master's degree from Ball State University. Julia was united in marriage in Anderson, to William Robert "Bob" Wright. She retired as the special education teacher for Anderson High School. She later retired as a substitute teacher for Carroll County School Corp. Julia resided in the Switzerland County community since 1994. Julia died at 5:40 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2020, at her residence.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Molly Wright and companion, Travis Webster, and Buffi Hatfield; grandchildren, William Smith, Giuliana Smith, Travis Webster Jr. and Krosley Webster.
Preceded in death by her parents; sons, BJ and Collin Wright; and sister, Leslie Wright.
No services will be held at this time.
