Anderson, IN - Julie Ann Sparks, 68, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, of Anderson, passed away peacefully at home on May 13, 2026.

She was born Sept. 24, 1957, in Anderson, to the late Norman and Barbara Sparks. She worked for the U.S. Postal Service for more than 25 years in various positions before retiring.

She then worked at the Anderson Public Library for 11 years, primarily at the Lapel Branch. She enjoyed gardening, her dogs, reading, and spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Gavin.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Ric) Savage; grandson, Gavin Gould; daughter, Miranda Savage; son, Steven Savage; sister, Norma Hampton; and brother, David (Bekah) Sparks; and many other family and friends who were touched by her kindness.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Grile Building at Whetstone Christian Church, 5940 Madison Aven., Anderson.
