Scottsville, KY - Rev. Karl Edward Huffman, 89, of Scottsville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026, at his residence.
He was born in Anderson, to Beryl Quinton Huffman and Viola Grace Shuman Huffman. He was a former pastor of independent churches in East and West Tennessee.
He was a U. S. Army veteran, a graduate of Purdue University in animal husbandry, and an inductee in the Purdue Agriculture Hall of Fame.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Marilyn Huffman, Scottsville, Kentucky; two sons, Brad Huffman and wife, Linda, Scottsville, Kentucky, and Scott Huffman and wife, Emily, Little Rock, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Kole Huffman, Michael Huffman, Brianne Huffman and Skyler Huffman (Lilli); and three great-grandchildren, Lyra, Lucy and Rhodes.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation was chosen and a private graveside service will be held at a later date at Allen County Memorial Gardens.
