Anderson, IN - Kelly Michele (Richardson) Armstrong, 54, of Anderson, passed away on March 20, 2026.

She was born on June 12, 1971, in Anderson, Indiana, the daughter of Gary and Carla (Borton) Richardson.

Kelly graduated from Anderson High School.

She managed the VMC and American Legion in Chesterfield, and also worked for the Paramount Theatre.

She liked art, being outdoors, was an avid Cubs fan, but especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Kelly is survived by her loving daughter, Ellyna Almquist; son, Clifton Almquist; grandchildren, Auna, Luna, Mila, Lilah, Benny, and Nae; mother, Carla Richardson; brother, Michael Richardson; nephew, Ryan "CJ" Richardson; and a host of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Richardson; grandparents, Mildred (Carmack) and Gene Borton of Anderson, and Betty (Dishman) and Earl D. Richmond of New Castle; and friend, Randy Hollon.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dottie Jarvis, Amy Ratican, Leslie Schroeder, Rhonda Kimm, and Jeff Bodine for their love and support for Kelly.

Cremation will take place with a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 1 p.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 2801 Lincoln St., Anderson.
