Kevin W. Smith, 62, of Anderson, passed away on Feb. 20, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on Nov. 26, 1961, in Muncie, to Diana (Rigby) Stevens. Kevin faithfully served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged.

He worked at the Pendleton Correctional Facility as a correctional officer. He loved to cheer on the Pittsburgh Steelers, play video games with his daughter, listen to music, and his Yorkies.

Kevin will be dearly missed by his daughter, Shannon Smith; mother, Diana Stevens; significant other, Chasty Benson; brother, Brent (Susan) Smith; and stepchildren, Anna Benson, David Jenkins, Rebekah Jimenez, and JT House.

He was preceded in death by his son, Steven A. Smith.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson.
