Landyn William Maupin Obituary

Anderson, IN - Landyn William Maupin, 20, of Anderson, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 28, 2026, as the result of an automobile accident.

He was born on July 24, 2005 in Anderson, the son of Justin D. Maupin and Hollie Perry. He was employed by Mr. Plumber/Comfort Air.

If you knew Landyn, you knew his smile would light up the room. You knew his love was genuine. He was a man of few words but he always had a way of making everyone laugh and feel loved. He had his father's work ethic and his mother's heart. He loved video games. He was a homebody. He enjoyed his time off doing the things he loved like hanging out with friends and watching football with dad. He had a love for animals, having many pets. He played baseball when he was younger and bowled in high school. Many of his friends come from sports. His circle was tight, small, but filled with love and trust.

Landyn is survived by his parents, Justin (Marion) Maupin and Hollie (Nathan Hollingsworth) Perry; siblings, Kamdyn Maupin and Riley Ferguson; grandparents, Tonya (Kenneth) Maupin, David Maupin, Ric and Betty Miller, Michelle and Larry Davenport, Mike and Jeni Perry, Diane Shields, Dannis Hollingsworth, Karen Hollingsworth, Kevin Woodring; several aunts, uncles and cousins; many special friends including Jazmen, Dontrez, Dilyn, Adrian, Joe and Jeremiah.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Mema Kinder.
